According to the police, Dastagiri, a resident of Budharaopet was reported missing by his family after he left home with some persons two days ago. The police said as they began making inquiries, they received a tip off about a body lying in the forest and upon inspecting it on Tuesday, the deceased was identified as Dastagiri.
The police said the man’s throat was found slit and it was possible that the persons with whom he left home were involved in the killing.
